Fortis Hospital, Mulund, is a multi-speciality quaternary care hospital and the only hospital in Mumbai to have been JCI-accredited seven times in a row. It is also accredited by NABH. This facility is the largest centre for multi-organ transplants in Maharashtra and was the first in Western India to conduct over 100 heart transplants in under four years. It has Central Mumbai's first advanced surgical robot and a first-of-its-kind Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. The hospital has received over 255 awards for excellence in healthcare. On March 9, 2024, it announced the launch of the 'Movement Disorder & DBS Clinic', dedicated to the treatment of various movement disorders, including Dystonia, Tremors, Hemifacial Spasm, and Ataxia. By February 17, 2024, it completed 100 bone marrow transplants (BMT) in the 12-70 age group. It is the first hospital in India to launch an Electronic ICU.
